Event Horizon£425
A striking minimalist wall piece exploring balance, motion, and negative space. Hundreds of small porcelain discs form an imperfect ring against a deep Hague Blue ground, evoking orbiting particles at the threshold of the unknown. The title Event Horizon refers to the boundary around a black hole—the point beyond which nothing can escape. Here, it acts as a simple metaphor: the circular formation suggests unseen forces, with elements gathering and drifting around an invisible centre. The composition balances order and randomness—structured yet organic—drawing the eye toward the quiet void within. Subtle shifts in spacing and density create a sense of suspended movement. Mounted on a Hague Blue background and edged with oak. Framed and ready to hang 40 x 40cm Available to view and buy at the Constellations of Form exhibition with Louisa Boyd at Saltbox Gallery, Helmsley 2–29 June To enquire about this piece or arrange a studio visit, contact me.
