Gradients - Black & White
The two panels work in quiet dialogue: one drawing the eye inward from dark to light, the other reversing the visual weight by floating darker forms on a pale ground. Together they explore balance, contrast and perspective—light and dark, presence and absence—suggesting that opposing states exist in harmony rather than conflict.

Black Gradient£455
Bold, dark, powerful.
The work explores contrast and balance through a restrained visual dialogue of dark and light, density and openness, resolving into a circular constellation of hand-folded porcelain forms that create a sculptural surface playing with light, shadow and rhythm. Unglazed porcelain. Body stain is worked into the raw porcelain so the porcelain becomes the colour. This creates the gradient. Origami meets porcelain, individually pressed onto origami-folded fabric. Edged with oak and ready to hang. 42x52.5cm |
