The Tree at the Centre of the World

Inspired by Yggdrasil, the Norse tree that connects all realms, this wall piece radiates from a central oak core in hand-formed porcelain leaves. Each piece is press-moulded onto an origami form, giving the leaves their faceted, geometric structure. The colour palette moves through the four seasons - spring greens, summer fullness, autumn warmth, winter dormancy - capturing nature's cycle in a single frame.
More than myth, it's a tribute to trees as the planet's lungs: absorbing carbon, producing oxygen, sustaining every living thing. A piece that brings warmth and presence to a wall, while holding space for what we stand to lose.
