The Tree at the Centre of the World

£1950
Inspired by the Norse myth of Yggdrasil, this striking wall piece represents the tree that connects all realms—a symbol of life, time, and interconnection. Crafted from oak and combined with hand-formed porcelain elements, the composition radiates outward from a central core, evoking balance and continuity.
The shifting colours of the porcelain forms reflect the four seasons—fresh greens of spring, the fullness of summer, warm autumnal tones, and the quiet dormancy of winter—capturing the cyclical rhythm of nature. Both grounded and dynamic, the piece brings a sense of harmony, myth, and timeless presence to a space.

Edged with 44mm oak.
Size 82 x 92cm
