The landscape seen through a prism, pixillated and faceted.

One of the starting points for this series of works was seeing David Nash's site specific Black Mound sculpture and 49 Square at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

Each porcelain piece is individually hand coloured and the faceted surface is made by press-moulding onto origami folded fabric. Then stitched onto the canvas in an overlapping pattern.

Sewn onto a Jackson's premium cotton canvas and tray frame. Large Fractured Landscape has a pale grey background. Small Fractured Landscape has a white background.
