York Open Studios - a very belated thank you!

First of all - To all of you who came to visit me at York Open Studios, from as far away as Kent  to Cumbria - a very belated thank you! Over the two weekends in July, almost 500 visitors came through my front door, followed Covid-safety protocol, and blew my mind!

​After 18 months of lock downs and enforced solitude, conversations with fellow art lovers was thrilling. There was a huge range of discussions and wonderful feedback, plus enthusiasm for and appreciation of my work.  As an artist, it's what you dream of, so it was pure joy.

The weather was glorious as people queued to come in.

I sold so much more than I had hoped for, including my favourite sculpture, so the following fortnight was spent delivering all the purchased artworks and making the porcelain pieces for the new commissions.
My final commissions were delivered to Leeds, the Lake District and the Peak District in August.
